High-grade type:

This achieves an optimum balance between performance and price. 

Standard-grade type/Economy-grade type: 
This has the attraction of a reasonable price tag. 

Economy-grade type: 
This has the attraction of a reasonable price tag. 

Segmented Type: 
Most commonly used. Blade has slits and layer of diamond are sintered on edges. Cut faster than continuous rim type and attain average cutting surface. 

Segmented Type Laser Welded: 
Layer of diamond and plate are welded by laser beam over 1000 degree C. 
Ideal with high power machine, thanks to strong bonding by alloying layer of diamond and plate. 

Segmented Wave Type: 
This wheel has slits like segmented wheel. 
Each segment has many notches (Wave). 
These notches assure; 
• Fast cutting with less resistance. 
• Smooth debris removal. 
• Less loading on wheel. 

Corrugated Type: 
This wheel has notches around the Rim. 
Has a characteristic between Continuous Rim and Segmented Type. Has faster cutting like Segmented Type. At the same time, can attain cleaner surface like continuous rim without broken edges. 

Continuous Rim Type: 
Has layer of diamond with uniform thickness around the entire rim. 
Can attain clean surface even on crusty, brittle materials. Cut with accuracy but not as fast as segment type wheel. 

Electrodeposited Type: 
Diamonds are electrodeposited and has more exposure than bonded type. 
Cuts faster and more ecient.
